  Version 2.3 is compatible with the latest EtherSound driver 1.27 and above, but due to poor perfomances and compatibility problems with firmware update of AVY16-S of this driver, Setup 2.3 will install EtherSound driver 1.24c by default, if there is no driver installed or if the driver installed is older. If the installed version of the driver is more recent, a warning is displayed asking wether to keep the old version or remove it and reinstall ES driver version 1.24c.

• During installation, a prompt will ask if the new security level management must be installed. It is always possible to install it later using the control panel.

ESMonitor software now includes:

  • The management of bidirectional ES device is now available. It includes downstream/upstream channel assignment for device I/O and the bidirectional loop back toggle.
  • The I/O mapping from or to EtherSound Channels are done through a Patch Page. The patch could be selected on downstream or upstream when Bidirectional capability is available on a device
• Group management: Adds the possibility to create/delete group of equivalent devices for common control
• Save/Restore to file: Enables to save to or restore from a file the complete network device configuration
• Save/Restore configuration of individual device or network into device internal memory.
